| This class emphasizes basic household manners, human and canine socialization and confidence building. Puppies will learn how to walk on a loose leash, sit, down, stand and come. Graduates receive a $20 coupon for beginner obedience class. Dogs must have a minimum of 2 rounds of distemper vaccine and a bordetella vaccine before the start of class. |

| Keeping your dog focused on you during distractions and building his confidence are keys to a well-trained dog. This class trains you for the 10 steps needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test which is given on the last day of class. Human graduates of this class are proud responsible dog owners who have the control necessary to take their dog anywhere they are allowed. |

| Introduce your dog to AKC-style agility obstacles (bar, tire & broad jumps, open & closed tunnels, dog walk, A-frame and table). Dogs must wear a flat buckle type collar and owners must bring a 4 to 6 foot leash (cotton web, nylon, or leather) and plenty of treats for motivation and rewards. |
